My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms were very clear and quiet, offering a great view of the mountains, but unfortunately, they were close to the street and I could hardly sleep due to the noise from the streets and upstairs. The absence of a microwave was a bit of an inconvenience for me.

I had a series of room-related issues, but the staff was responsive and tried to accommodate. The service had its ups and downs with multiple room changes due to various maintenance problems. However, the utility guy who fixed the sink and toilet seat was very nice and polite.

The location of the hotel is quite nice, close to the beach, downtown LA, the desert, restaurants, and major malls. Specifically, the lobby area is welcoming, and Topanga Canyon provides a less busy and humid atmosphere.
